Micro-Enterprise & Co-operative Practices
Simply by participating in our planning process model, local leaders often gain important experience in project planning and design. But the critical factor for success is whether their projects are socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable. So ASD also trains participants in micro-enterprise and co-operative practices, a key component in our PODS Development Training.
Topics Include:
- resources procurement
- financial management
- marketing
- advocacy
- manufacturing
- quality control
When ASD completes a training, we want each drop of knowledge to ripple out through the participants to their surrounding communities, while also nourishing the participants. Assigning the expertise as the responsibility of its citizens supports a sustainable and dynamic people who are prepared, active and independent. It creates a multiplier effect within the entire population.
